Honywood School Short Version from Pegasus Aerial Imaging on Vimeo.
Some of you may remember a story a while back about a secondary school in Essex giving every single one of their children an iPad to aid their education. Forward, innovative thinking you may ask? It was that philosophy that prompted them to contact and hire us for our aerial filming capability. We were invited to Honywood School to film the school’s annual fundraising event from the air. Up until this year the whole school have done a sponsored walk to raise money but this year they wanted to do something different, something difficult that required the whole school community to come together and produce something amazing. The school staff and children had practiced for weeks to make sure they got it right on the chosen day so all we had to do was turn up, set up and make sure we could capture the event in one or two takes at most because as you all know, teenagers don’t have that great an attention span so the pressure was on!! Take a look at the video we produced for the school that has our aerial filming combined with some ground footage we took along with captions provided by the school and I think you’ll agree that the kids (and staff) did a great job and I’m sure they raised a lot of money in the process.
We had a blast and it’s the sort of project we love to get involved in as it’s not something you get to do every day. Our aerial filming obviously added immeasurably to their project but it was the creative thinking at the beginning of the process and the realisation of the project leaders the impact aerial footage can have on a vision that got the ball rolling in the first place. You can email us via the contact page or alternatively call us today on 07926 976833 to discuss your next exciting project if you think we may be able to help you take your vision to the next level.
Here is a (very) short clip of the ‘kidzasketch’ to give you a taste of the days event and a different point of view.
