We recently had the pleasure of doing some aerial filming for P1 Superstock in London at the Royal Victoria Docks and wanted to share with you some of the great footage we captured.
It was the end of March and although the weather looked lovely and sunny when we arrived, where we were based was in the shade and with a breeze, it was cold. The sun eventually moved round and warmed us up but with that the wind increased and that made the task of aerial filming much harder for us but, I think when you look at the footage you’ll see we came through with the goods. Our brushless gimbal for the 5D mk3 did an outstanding job considering the very windy conditions and the video you see in our short film is straight out of the camera with no stabilization. Amazing. Juggling flight times with race times was also a challenge but the production team that we were working with were great and coordinating with them oiled the gears and made for a slick operation.
